My Dad got my siblings and I a new motorbike.Are old one was not working.

My Stuff

  I got a backpack and I made a walking stick with my grandpa.  A couple of days ago I got to wood-burn some animals on to it.  I am thinking about making a walking stick for Isaiah.  I do not know when he will get it.  If he gets one, it probably won't be too soon because I don't have the supplies for one.  When my grandpa was on his way to my house it was 26 below 0.  The last couple of days it's been super cold and my mom had to put some blankets over the windows and the kitchen door.  Some of the windows are so cold that you cold not see through them because of the frost.


I am going to get a rifle. I don't know when I will get it.  I got a drill awhile ago but I haven't got to use it yet, and my parents gave me one of their old laptops and I've been writing my blog with it lately.  I was enjoying it,but it broke and my dad just gave me a different old one, and I'm writing the rest of this post on it.  I have a lot of things going on in my head and one of those things is a wood burner for a walking stick for Isaiah.

Our Yard

The 4-wheeler and lawn mower got stuck.  Dad and I might have to pull them out this weekend.

We have a lot of chickens, and a dog.  My job is to feed and water Poppy every day.  Our roosters are black and white.

We are going to dig up potatoes today.  Our cider press is getting sand blasted tomorrow morning.  There have been lots of mosquitoes these last few days.  And it's been very hot.

We have a lot of plants this year from our garden.  We had a lot of rain this year.  My mom might try jump-starting the lawn mower to get it unstuck. 

My favorite things that we picked out of the garden this year were watermelon and beans.

Aaron's First Post

Hi!  My name is Aaron.  I'm 8 years old.  My favorite thing to do is to work outside with Dad.  When I grow up, I want to be a farmer.

When I am a farmer, I will help Mom and Dad with their farm, Spring Lake Homestead.  I hope that someday we get a goat for playing with and for milk.  I want to drive the tractors and 4-wheeler when I get bigger. My favorite job will probably be driving the 4-wheeler. 

I have a garden.  My garden has corn, and green beans.  I planted cabbage, but I don't know if it's growing.  I have zucchini and turnips and carrots and lettuce in my garden.  There is a watermelon, but it's tiny and I don't know if it will get big enough before it gets too cold.  I also have a marigold planted in my garden that I started indoors in spring.

So far I have picked a big zucchini from my garden, almost 2 feet long.
